Ready to touch down in the heart of the Florida Keys? Summerland Key Airport, your gateway to paradise, welcomes pilots with a seamless landing experience. Follow these simple steps to join our aviation community:
 

1. Request to Land: Complete the form below (or to the right on desktop) to start the process.

2. Submit Insurance: Contact your insurance provider and request a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the following as Additional Insured:

   • Summerland Key Cove Airport Company
     260 West Shore Drive, Summerland Key, FL 33042
     Email the COI to summerlandkeyairport@gmail.com prior to your first landing.

3. Review and Connect: Read our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and contact our Airport Manager, Matt, for landing approval or any questions.

4. Pay Landing Fees: Bring cash or a check (payable to “Summerland Key Cove Airport Company”) upon arrival.  Venmo and credit cards transactions are available, but fees apply.  See our fee schedule below.
    

Landing License Fees

• Annual License (One pilot, one aircraft):

  • $2,000: Single/Multi-Engine Piston, Fixed-Wing

  • $3,000: Turbine Fixed-Wing

  • $5,000: Helicopters

  • $500: Paramotors/Powered Parachutes

  • $750: Annual Parking on Airport Property

  • $300: Each Additional Aircraft

• Monthly License:

  • $600: Single/Multi-Engine Piston, Fixed-Wing

  • $1,000: Turbine Fixed-Wing

  • $2,000: Helicopters

  • $150: Paramotors/Powered Parachutes

• Weekly License:

  • $200: Single/Multi-Engine Piston, Fixed-Wing

  • $500: Turbine Fixed-Wing

  • $1,000: Helicopters

  • $50: Paramotors/Powered Parachutes

• The Pilot in Command is responsible for ensuring safe aircraft operation, adhering to our SOP, and complying with all applicable county, state, and federal regulations, including pre-flight planning and performance calculations.

• Summerland Key Airport is not liable for the safety or security of unattended aircraft or vehicles. We do not guarantee the suitability of our facilities for specific aircraft or purposes.
